KASU AI Whitepaper
1. Introduction
KASU AI is building a platform that rewards people for contributing everyday resources — starting with simply being part of the network — with an in-platform token called KASU. This document explains what KASU is, how it's distributed, what is built and working today, and what's planned next. It is written to be read by anyone, not just developers.
This whitepaper describes the current state of the KASU AI platform and its intended direction. Features described as "planned" or "roadmap" are not yet built and may change before they ship.
2. Current Platform Status
To be transparent about exactly what exists today:
- Live and working: account creation (email or Google), a personal dashboard showing your KASU balance, device pairing via a rotating one-time key and QR code, a referral program that pays out real KASU, and an admin system that enforces a hard cap on total KASU ever issued.
- Not yet live: automatic token accrual from an actively "mining" device. Linking a device to your account today does not yet generate ongoing KASU by itself — the mining rate shown in your dashboard is a placeholder for functionality still in development. Building this correctly requires a way to verify a device is genuinely active (rather than trusting a client to self-report), which is on the roadmap.
3. Total Supply & Token Allocation
The total supply of KASU is fixed at 1,000,000,000 KASU. It will never be increased. The supply is divided as follows:
| Allocation | % of Supply | KASU |
|---|---|---|
| Mining Rewards | 40% | 400,000,000 |
| Ecosystem & Development | 25% | 250,000,000 |
| Team & Advisors | 15% | 150,000,000 |
| Reserve Fund | 12% | 120,000,000 |
| Liquidity & Exchange | 8% | 80,000,000 |
Only the Mining Rewards pool — 400,000,000 KASU — is distributed to users through the platform itself (signup bonuses, referral bonuses, and future mining accrual). This is enforced at the database level: a running total of every KASU ever credited to a user is checked before each credit, and once that total reaches 400,000,000, no further Mining Rewards KASU can be issued to anyone, regardless of activity. This is a hard technical limit, not a policy.
The remaining 60% (Ecosystem & Development, Team & Advisors, Reserve Fund, and Liquidity & Exchange) is not distributed through user activity on the platform and is outside the scope of this document.
4. How You Earn KASU Today
4.1 Signup Bonus
Every new account receives 100 KASU automatically upon signup, drawn from the Mining Rewards pool and subject to the cap described above.
4.2 Referral Program
Every account gets a unique referral link. When someone creates an account using your link, you receive 25 KASU, also drawn from the Mining Rewards pool. Your dashboard shows a live count of successful referrals and total KASU earned from them.
4.3 Device Pairing
Linking a device to your account requires generating a one-time pairing key from your dashboard, which costs 5 KASU. The key is valid for 15 minutes and displayed as both text and a QR code. This fee is deducted from your balance, not credited to it — it exists to prevent abuse of the pairing system (for example, generating large numbers of throwaway device links).
5. Planned: Active Mining Rewards
The next phase of development is turning a linked, genuinely active device into ongoing KASU accrual — the core "mining" experience. This requires infrastructure that doesn't yet exist: a trustworthy signal that a device is actually online and contributing (rather than an app simply claiming so), and a scheduled process that converts verified activity into KASU credits, still subject to the same 400,000,000 cap. Until this ships, the "Mining Rate" shown on your dashboard does not yet generate KASU on its own.
6. Longer-Term Direction
Beyond basic mining accrual, KASU AI is evaluating ways for a network of linked devices to provide real value in exchange for KASU — for example, contributing to ad/geo verification, distributed data-labeling tasks, or other opt-in work that a device can perform. None of this is built, none of it is promised, and any future feature of this kind would be opt-in and clearly disclosed before it collects any data from a device. KASU AI will not build features that use a user's device to bypass another platform's identity or anti-fraud verification (for example, SMS/OTP relaying).
7. The KASU Token — What It Is and Isn't
- KASU is a utility/reward token internal to the KASU AI platform, used to represent activity and participation.
- KASU is not currently listed or tradable on any exchange, and no exchange listing is promised or guaranteed by this document.
- KASU is not a security, is not an investment contract, and acquiring it should never be treated as an investment or a way to earn profit from the efforts of others.
- The Mining Rewards supply is hard-capped at 400,000,000 KASU; once fully distributed, no further Mining Rewards KASU will ever be issued.
- Balances, allocations, and features described here may change as the platform develops. This document will be updated to reflect material changes.
